Brazing / Soldering Fluxes
Aufhauser Brazing and Soldering Fluxes are top-rate industrial flow and cleaning agents perfect for use in your project.
Brazing Fluxes play a vital role in virtually all air brazing processes. Use of the wrong flux or a poor application technique can have a dramatic effect on joint quality.
Soldering Fluxes are classified as corrosive, intermediate or non-corrosive. The choice depends on the metals being joined, the melting range of the solder and whether the residues are to be removed after soldering.
There are also special fluxes for the brazing of tungsten carbide, stainless steel, aluminum bronze, and refractory metals; induction brazing; manufacturing flux coated rods; and reducing red staining on brass.
Silver Brazing / Soldering Flux
White SilverFlux | All purpose, low temperature, organic fluoride type flux for use in silver brazing most ferrous and non-ferrous metals, stainless tools and carbides (with the exception of aluminum bronzes). Molten at 1150°F and active to a maximum of 1600°F. It exhibits a long active life at brazing temperatures providing excellent fluidity and good adherence. Applications include automotive, jewelry, musical instruments, aerospace, carbide tools, electronics and plumbing. This flux conforms to Federal Specification O-F-499D,Type B, and EN 1045 Type FH10. Also meets AWS A5.31 Classification FB3 A, rev. 2022 and AMS 3410K.

Black SilverFlux | A boron-modified version of the White Silver Flux. Intended for use where refractory oxides are formed on metals being joined. for use in the temperature range 1100°F to 1800°F allowing for higher brazing temperatures than the White Flux. This flux conforms to Federal Specification O-F-499D,Type B. Conforms also to AWS A5.31:2022 Class FB3C, AMS 3411E

General Brazing Flux
Flux600 | A white granular powder flux. Works well on ferrous, non-ferrous alloys and stainless steels and is most suitable for use with low-fuming bronze (C681) filler metal. Entirely free of fluorides, with a high boric acid content which permits the flux to stick to hot filler metal rods. |
UltraFlux | UltraFlux is water based active fluoride/borate-type flux in paste form. It is formulated to ensure a creamy consistency and to provide excellent adhesion when dipped or brushed on components. |
UltraFlux Black | UltraFlux Black is boron-modified version of UltraFlux, providing a broader filler metal flow range and excellent protection of components up to 1800°F. |
High Production Brazing Flux
SpeedFlux B2 | Boron infused, high speed automation liquid flux for braze-welding steel and other metals with bronze rods, nickel-silver rods and silver solders. Flux is dispersed through the flame. Applications include all-surface brazing applications, building up shafts and spindles, automotive, sculpture, jewelry, HVAC and general maintenance. |
SpeedFlux LPG | Similar to the B2, but is intended for use with all liquefied petroleum gas systems such as MAPP and others. |
