INTRODUCTION
Aufhauser SilverAlloy Cd-30Aufhauser SilverAlloy Cd-30 is cadmium containing silver brazing alloy with a relatively low melting range and excellent wetting characteristics on ferrous and non-ferrous base metals. It is similar to Cd-35, which is a tighter-tolerance variant of Cd-30. Cd-30 is well suited for joining steels, copper, nickel alloys, and tungsten carbides. This filler metal contains cadmium.
APPLICATIONS
Aufhauser Cd-30 is used for joining most ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Cd-30 has good brazing properties and is suitable either for pre-placement in the joint or for manual feeding into the joint. Its narrow melting range makes it ideal for precision brazing applications where good gap-filling ability and a low melting point are essential.
